The Adventure explores the relationship between reality and children's imagination.

Inspired by how COVID-19 has affected my daughter and countless other children around the world, "The Adventure" aims to shed light on the impact the pandemic has had on our youth. While much of the focus has been on how it has affected adults, the pandemic has greatly affected children's lives as well. For instance, my daughter can no longer freely play in public places without the worry of contracting the virus. Additionally, she has had to avoid group activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19, making it difficult for her to socialize with peers.

Rather than incorporating COVID-19 related subject matter, I decided to create a series of illustrations that portray a little girl's imaginative and surreal experiences at home. Through this series, I hope to showcase the perspective of a young girl who is curious about the outside world and unaware of the current situation.
